The food is Great, and so is the friendly service. This is one of our most favorite Chinese food restaurants in the whole valley.

I have travelled all over and lived in many british columbia cities, and i have only found one chinese resturant as good as the golden carriage (yiks in north vancouver). The service is some what terriable becuase there english is not that good, but they do make up for it in there food. EVERY time we have take out it is from the golden carriage now. I dont know how these other people got poor food because my family loves every bit of it.

It was terrible. The food on the buffet was cold or tepid. When we asked for fresh food, they brought out a couple of things and then mixed it in with the cold stuff. I ended up with mild food poisoning for the next day. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Golden Carriage Restaurant...Excellent Food. Since the new Management it has been a place to get good food. Nice friendly staff and wonderful buffet. Lunch or Dinner. Check it out!!

I don't think there is any excellent chinese food in the valley, however, now with the new management, Golden Carriage is the best we have! Pretty good buffet! Very nice staff!

My orders of dim sum were frostbitten and mouldy tasting. Is there anything else that you need to know? Do not be tempted - food poisoning is not worth a little dim sum.
