For a large already well established store like Safeway to try to actually adverise they are singling out our new lovely locally owned Quality Foods store to openly compete with, is both childish and in very poor taste. If Safeway is so worried let them bring in their own better prices and be inovative. It has the reverse affect on me as I will NEVER shop in Safeway again!
According to the BC Gas Prices website, Courtenay Safeway has the highest prices in BC for diesel. This must be obvious gouging since Nanaimo is much cheaper and Abbotsford is 20c/liter less.
